There are a limited number of people who can think to create not so easy stuff that creatively. I keep searching for knowledge regarding this subject. Eventdomain, personally, I think that your directory shows probably the most sensible way for directories to go. To target one specific sector. The businesses listing can then target their entries towards one specific group of customers and the user knows that the companies listed in the directory are acutally interested in providing services into that industry/sector.

quite interesting site – all lumped together which makes the Wedding stuff easier to find (and gives me the option of doing it myself), but also has other venues, gifts (hah! It has fire eaters! I can have fire eaters at the Reception!) and little adventure trips.

And, thank goodness, they also have caterers in the directory. It really would be rather cruel (and getting the wedding off on the wrong foot) to subject my guests to my cooking, or John’s baked-beans and potato variety of cooking… Very nice!
