Why Eventdomain

It was while planning my own party, I found frustration finding a suitable venue - it was bad enough searching for simple contact details, but the venues were either fully booked or over budget and then the time-consuming task of backtracking to recontact venues for availability.    I found myself going from search engine to websites to magazines to local papers etc, no closer to finding even a basic venue type, then I got out from work early one day, popped into my local pub and found that their function room was available, I snapped it up as I knew if I left it until next day, someone else would get in front of me and book it.

So my function room was booked, but on walking home it got me thinking about what if I wanted other event services as well - so thought I could probably put all these event services into a website for people to find.  Eventdomain was born!

The Company

Was formed in late 2002 by me, Chris Given, a former Retail & Hospitality manager.  We knew this was a great idea, as it's a nightmare finding all the different elements for an Event. And we wanted to make some cash!

We currently advertise over 7'000 event consultants and related event services, which is growing fast!  In 2008 our engine site got 12.5 million searches, and delivered over 2 million webclicks to event suppliers in the UK.
